Re: “Scott Crawford Refused to Sell Us a Plate of Food at Crawford and Son

It's possible that if your previous reviews focused on the atmosphere and food you'd have more credibility, and not be kicked out from a great restaurant.

"Was the original Standard Foods really about the farmers and producers and butchers and bakers and cooks and you and me, as it claimed? Or was it about Crawford and Crawford and Crawford? ... We'll never know, of course. The ready-for-press story bobs above water, while the rest of the cold, hard truth hides deep below. And I hate diving."

If you're not going to dive into the truths of a matter, then don't even touch the surface. Your previous reviews portray Crawford as an individual who was only out to make good for himself, abandoning Standard and taking what he could. Knowing your preconceptions about Crawford, its no surprise he didn't want you sitting in his restaurant so you can "review" his staff and their appearance rather than the food.
