Re: “Our handy voting guide for the November 2013 election

I think it would be helpful for the Indy to publish, at least online, voter guides for the many municipalities in Wake County. The folks who live outside of Cary and Raleigh make up more of the population of Wake than those who live inside C and R. Whom does the Indy endorse for the following municipalities?

Apex: three moderate/progressive candidates running
Fuquay-Varina: four moderate/progressives running
Garner: one moderate/progressive running
Holly Springs: two moderate/progressives running
Knightdale: three moderate/progressives running
Morrisville: six moderate/progressives running
Rolesville: one moderate/progressive running
Wake: two moderate/progressives running
Zebulon: four moderate/progressives running

Re: “Two women could change the face of Apex politics

I, for one, am grateful to see these two women running. We haven't had a woman on the board since 2001, and everyone who is currently one the board or running, outside of these two, live in or near the center of town. I'm tired of seeing over-the-top ideology creeping into our day-to-day municipal leadership, which I've been seeing for a good 8-9 years now. Bring on the ladies! We need this change!!!!
