Soulstice! | The ArtsCenter | Stage | Indy Week
This is a past event.

When: Fri., June 21, 8 p.m. 2013
Price: $15-20

Either you love performance art or it makes you really, really uncomfortable. If you're in the former category, come to this night of dance, aerial acts and music for the exploration of souls and innermost desires. If you're in the latter category, come anyway, if only for the cleavage and fishnets. (And isn't there some expression about how you grow by doing things that make you uncomfortable?) Richmond, Va., performer Khalima hosts the evening; local jill-of-all-trades Sirona von Sirius produces. Audience members are advised to come in costume as their favorite animal so as better to discover personal truth through their animal essences. That's performance art for you. —Emma D. Miller
