Remember John Snells, the Modulations and the Communicators? They’re just a few of Durham’s soul, funk and R&B greats of the 60s and 70s – now part of the Soul Souvenirs exhibit at the Durham History Hub. Reminisce with Johnny White and the Elite Band -- on stage at the Hub Friday night, August 15, from 6 to 8. Between sets, Charles Bailey, Vernelle Mack and Stanley Saunders will talk about those legendary days. You’re invited! No charge. 6 to 8. August 15th. At the Durham History Hub, 500 West Main, downtown.
