Re: “Domestic violence in Wake County spikes, especially among immigrants

I applaud Manisha for pulling herself out of this mess and I applaud the reporter for writing the story and the newpaper for printing it. Manisha is a brave, strong and self-reliant woman to be applauded.

While I don't know Manisha personally, I know her ex-husband personally and he is just as cruel, controlling, abusive, and arrogant as this story details. One day his Karma is going to turn around and bite him in his a_ _.

He deserves every lousy thing possible, just as he tried to give to her. The only reason he came back to NC was because he had plans to try to take custody of his daughter away from Manisha. But that isn't how the state of NC works.

This is not a work pressure versus family pressure issue. This is a violence issue of domination, power and control over someone, an act of cowardice. This is simply how he dominates, by using fear tactics and violence against someone who is physically weaker. He would never do this if it were a man of equal size to himself. He is coward and a creep.
