Songs for Sparrow Benefit

When: Sun., April 19, 3 p.m. 2015
Raleigh rock acts congregate to raise money for Jolie Yelton, a 7-year-old diagnosed with leukemia last month. Local vets, including The T’s, Richard Bacchus and The Luckiest Girls, offer few-frills rock. 6 String Drag and The Duets (featuring Tres Chicas’ Caitlin Cary and Johnny Folsom Four’s David Burney) deliver complementary twang. Rockers The Bleeding Hearts are the likely highlight, as they’ll spend their set taking on the KISS catalog. —Bryan C. Reed
