Somewhere In Between

When: Sept. 12-28 2014
Ten years have passed since Theatre in the Park produced The Rocker, the gifted regional playwright Adrienne Earle Pender's moving, thought-provoking, four-star update of King Lear. In Pender's new domestic drama, McKenna Hahn had a perfect interracial marriage with her husband, Marcus. Then Marcus dies, and McKenna finds out he'd been having an affair during their entire time together. Marcus' family begins voicing differing opinions on McKenna's continued presence in their ancestral home. Maggie Rasnick directs a talented quintet of Page Purgar, Hazel Edmond, Byron Jennings II, Brenda Lo and Chris Milner in this premiere.—Byron Woods
