Silver Dollar Switchblade, Crumb Catcher, Richard Bacchus & The Luckiest Girls, Babo Natale

When: Fri., July 31, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
The Carrboro sextet Silver Dollar Switchblade spent last month working on a follow-up to their split EP with Raleigh’s Richard Bacchus & the Luckiest Girls, with whom they share this bill. Like the former D-Generation frontman’s outfit, Silver Dollar Switchblade build invigorating bar-rock on a bedrock of trustworthy influences. Rather than classic punk and glam, though, they favor melancholy country and roots-rock, landing in the vicinity of Lucero. —Bryan C. Reed
