Shipwrecked! An Entertainment

When: Wed., Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. 2010
Price: $10-$45
Take a trip back to the days of high adventure in this rollicking yarn by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies (Dinner With Friends). The full title should give you an idea: Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As Told by Himself). It's the tale of a real-life explorer who traveled the world, saw extraordinary things, became famous and fell from grace. Directed by Tom Quaintance, who also helmed PlayMakers' The Little Prince and co-directed Nicholas Nickleby, it's an old-school entertainment with a good bit of history thrown in. The production runs through Dec. 19 on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., with matinees at 2 p.m. on Dec. 11 and on Sundays. For more information, including special events tying into the production, call 962-PLAY (7529) or visit Ticket prices range from $10 to $45. —Zack Smith
