Re: “The mind of Kenneth Maready

My name is Shannon Parrott. Kay Stokes was my Aunt. She was a Godly woman who was loving and caring. I have a degree in Social Work. I work with addicts everyday! Maready is full of crap. Addicts will never tell the truth when they do something wrong. "I don't want to feel that what I done wasn't my fault, but it's just so many things that could've happened that was out of my control," Maready says. He was in control of EVERYTHING. He was driving a stolen car, under the influence of alcohol and cocaine and running from the police. He could of chose a different choice in 3 situations. Everyone who is sympathetic with this man is mentally ill. I have forgive him for what he did because I know where my aunt is. Her granddaughter is gorgeous and brilliant, but sadly remembers this day all to well. Reading this article breaks my heart when they speak of my Aunt with a broken neck and cracked skull. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her. This scum bag should of been in jail a long time ago. I am getting married in 2 weeks. Instead of sending her and invitation I am putting her picture on a memorial table. Ask yourselves this. If it were your loved one would you feel sorry for him?
