Re: “John Skvarla, new Sec'y of DENR: snake oil salesman?

I'm not a scientist, but I am concerned that no matter what is creating climate change, governments need to be more responsible and responsive to checking all controllable actions of industry to reduce carbon emissions and steward limited resources; government needs to protect public lands and secure water and air quality for all citizens. I also appreciate good journalism. I appreciate information in a news article, and I appreciate opinion in an editorial. I don't really like mixing information and opinion; since Fox media doesn't know the difference, I think it's extremely important that progressive media makes the distinction.
I do not think that lines like:
"Not really. These are the minds from which abiotics sprang—and our new Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources is parading around a scientifically bereft theory.
But wait, there’s more.
Fact: There is no scientifically valid debate about climate change. Period." and
"Really? Every day for 10 years? And he’s still not ready to come down on the side of science?"
really help the cause of public discourse, science, public policy or the environment.
