Since launching her career as a female pioneer in the competitive, male-dominated world of West African hip hop, Senegalese rapper and urban soul singer Sister Fa has used her lyrics and genre-blending music to tackle serious social issues and speak out for women's rights. SARABAH documents how this musical innovator with an international following infuses art with activism in a campaign to end female genital cutting (FGC), a practice she experienced as a young child.
