Samantha Fish

When: Wed., Dec. 9, 8 p.m. 2015
Price: $12-$18
Tottering around on black stilettos, rattling out a version of the Stones’ “Dead Flowers” on her oil can guitar, Samantha Fish made a big impression during her last appearance in town with Tab Benoit and Tommy Castro. Returning as the headliner, the 25-year-old Kansas City native will stir things up on her custom Fish-o-Caster with a fish-shaped sound hole during originals like “Go To Hell” or a blistering cover of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Who’s Been Talking” from her latest release, Black Wind Howlin. —Grant Britt
