Ron White

When: Fri., Nov. 22, 7 & 9:30 p.m. 2013
We always knew Ron White was too cool for the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Usually decked out in Johnny Cash black, puffing on a cigar and sipping on some primo scotch, dropping jokes and anecdotes with the swagger of a Rat Pack member, White seemed out-of-place with the hillbilly shtick that made Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy redneck-comedy gods. Over the years, White has become a comic force of nature, turning into a lone, major stand-up draw as he tours the country and attracts audiences in both red and blue states. —Craig D. Lindsey
