I listened to his show in Boston. He would consistently interrupt callers just as they were about to say something interesting albeit controversial. He appeared to me to be a defender of the right. He was the WORST host to get us through the post 9/11 period. I missed out on critiquing Chris Lydon, but had many acquaintances who felt that Dick Gordon ruined the show. I surfed here, because I am annoyed today at Cookie Roberts and Steve Inskeep, and their lame reporting on the epic oil spill in the Gulf. I thought to myself..Steve Inskeep reminds me of how little I liked Dick Gordon. Dick Gordon was an obstacle to being informed in Boston. I was glad to see him go.
