I agree with Brian Walsby. As a kid growing up in Fayetteville other than the shows we were putting on, The Brewery was the nearest place to see punk rock shows. I saw some excellent ones there...Youth Brigade, Bouncing Souls, Agnostic Front, Mustard Plug and the like. It was sad that when I moved to Raleigh (5 years ago)...Ive only been there twice(once cause I was playing there and once to see some friends play there). I loved the place, I loved the vibe....the bands they booked were no longer to my likeing.Emo and metalcore have a very narrow fan base and a short shelf life. I feel. they would have had a better chance to survive if they hadnt turned thier backs on the kids and the bands that put them on the map.
