"Leadership" also doesn't have to mean "Statism"

If your only barometer for the efficacy of a City Council is the number of regulations they pass, and the amount of intrusion that they force into the free market and the lives of our citizens, then I imagine you'd be pretty disappointed by all but a small selection of candidates this year. That does explain your Bernie Sanders fascination though.

I, for one, appreciate that "affordable housing" sometimes means having to move to a cheaper neighborhood/town, that developers should be able to capitalize on the massive risks that they take by using their land however they choose, and that when people like you say "we'd invest in Southeast Raleigh" they certainly aren't talking about investing their OWN money.
