When: May 4-9 2010
Price: $31-$69.50

If you'd rather not spend your Cinco de Mayo with chips, salsa and a few Coronas, then why not spend it with Michael Flatley's coterie of stepdancers? Coupling traditional Irish music with step dancing, in which the dancers' arms remain stoic while their legs and feet feverishly jig, Riverdance has been an audience favorite around the world since its creation in 1994. Despite the barrage of jibes at the show's expense—perhaps most especially in Ireland—Riverdance is deeply rooted in popular culture and still sells out shows. It comes to Broadway Series South May 4–9 for eight "farewell performances." —Belem Destefani
