Redress Raleigh

When: Fri., April 15, 8 p.m. 2011
Price: $10-15

Attention fashionistas: Green is the new black. Eco-friendly fashion is ready to come out of the closet with the third annual Redress Raleigh fashion show. Just in time for Earth Day, 13 eco-friendly designers from the Triangle, each challenged to think about the environmental impact resulting from developing their products, will showcase their green designs to the public. The show has sold out in the previous two years and its producers expect an even larger crowd this year. The runway show begins at 8 p.m; tickets range from $10 to $25. Sponsorship seating may be reserved online in advance. Designers will participate in the Green Bazaar on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on East Edenton Street in downtown Raleigh; an after-party follows Saturday night at 9 p.m. at the Hive at Busy Bee Cafe on Fayetteville Street. —Adair Crane
