Re: “B.J. Lawson, the hybrid candidate

Great point, Kate! Know that you are not alone, there are many of us who are voting mostly Democrat this election cycle. In my case, the exceptions are for BJ Lawson and now for Mike Munger. I am staunchly anti-death penalty and he has pledged to place a moratorium on the death penalty and commute the sentences to life in prison. Honestly, I am a bit annoyed that Lt. Gov. Perdue did not think that she had to show up for debates...so yea. However, I am SO excited about Barak Obama, Kay Hagan, Linda Stephens, Cheri Beasley and so many others. This election cycle is so exciting! Thanks for your open mind and for seeing past the silly labels!

Great work, Lisa. I know that you did all that you were able to do to be diligent and fair; you and I were in contact a great deal for you to be certain that you had quoted me fairly and that you represented my positions fairly. I cannot imagine that you did not do the same for Ms. Jenkins. Again, it is so great to know that there still is a newspaper that reports fairly unlike some out there that I won't bother to mention.

Wow! This is an incredible story, Lisa. Thank you for your work and I am so proud that we have a truly independent newspaper.

Re: “Ron Paul's nod boosts Lawson coffers

Hey Charles, do you live on my road because I may be that die hard Dem about whom you speak and there are some Republicans who are supporting him...actually, there are quite a few Dems for Lawson. Check out the blog: http://www.demsforlawson.com He is most def. not your typical Republican; if he were then this Dem would be voting for his opponent...I gotta tell you that. This guy is what's up!
