Raleigh's Darkest Secrets Segway Tour

When: Fridays, Saturdays. Continues through Nov. 1 2014

FRIDAYs and saturdays, RALEIGH

DOWNTOWN RALEIGH—Who knew that Triangle Glides' Segway tours were voted Travelocity's top attraction in downtown Raleigh? Perhaps it's because of the most recent addition to the lineup: a sinister look into our capital's past called Raleigh's Darkest Secrets. Armed with headsets and helmets—plus 20 minutes of basic Segway instruction before departure—Glides guides its flock to locations of public hangings, bizarre deaths and paranormal activity. The 90-minute tour happens every Friday and Saturday, although understandably, reservations are going fast around Halloween. Various times, $55.99, 321 S. Blount St., 919-828-1988, www.triangleglides.com. —Tina Haver Currin
