Re: “Will a New Townhouse Project Open the Floodgates for Raleigh Developers?

Seems this is an ongoing issue with Cullinan. This is the same developer that tried to remove NCOD designations from a property in the middle of Mordecai. The Mordecai CAC voted against his plans, and he has been silent on that project since. Like the New Bern - Edenton development, Cullinan claimed that the Mordecai development was a "noble cause" to bring middle-tier housing to the neighborhood. He probably thinks he's figured out a way to make more money by building more small units than one large unit. Maybe he should try playing within the city's rules, and he can avoid these repeated problems.
