Raleigh Drum Circle / Drum for Change

When: Third Monday of every month, 7-8:30 p.m.
Price: $5, $10 families

Come bang on a drum to express your own music, passions, demons, whatever moves you. Community drumming is a centuries-old practice that promotes healing and general well- being, and Greg Whitt of Drum for Change believes drumming can change the world. This family-friendly rhythm event runs 7–8:30 p.m. the third Monday of every month. Meet on the deck at the gorgeous Lake Johnson boathouse, 4601 Avent Ferry Road, rain or shine. (Drumming will take place inside if the weather is bad.) Loaner drums are available. Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family; feel free to just sit and listen, and soar. Christina Cass
