Raindeer, The Dinwiddies

When: Sun., Aug. 2, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
The twinkling indie pop of Baltimore quartet Raindeer sounds so 2005, you’ll start missing Sufjan Stevens’ annual releases. Jessie Bucaro’s tender soprano has an innocent lilt, like she caught a case of The Pains of Being Pure At Heart. In January, Raindeer self-released You Look Smashing, which grounds some of their synthetic symphonies with more straight-ahead pop pulse. Don’t miss openers the Dinwiddies, who play tuneful garage and power-pop with frequent harmonies and a ragged charm. —Chris Parker
