In only a decade, The Beatles covered an incredibly large musical terrain, from their early elemental rock 'n' roll innocence to their later psychedelic excursions, from the sweetly ordered sides of Rubber Soul to the tightly executed segues of Abbey Road. Most attempts to cover the Fab Four hone in on one of those periods only to avoid the others, But the long-running Rain samples from the span of Beatlemania, both in sound and style.
