Queer Art & Music Extravaganza

When: Wed., June 15, 9 p.m. 2011
Price: $5

Durham's The Pinhook has steadily become a de facto Triangle nexus for minority advocacy and entertainment, so the arrival of this five-band bill should come as little surprise. From Widow's weirdly provocative bent forms to Yva Las Vegas' hyperextended folk idioms, these musicians mix metal and folk, industrial and pop into an unexpected variety show. Also taking part are Felix & the Future, Shadow Lover and Cantour Paphius. —Grayson Currin
