Re: “The Tea Party

@Oldtex - You did the same thing as mattdrew. Skim and flame. Because the "couple of paragraphs later" that you conveniently skip actually set out a logical train of thought as to how Mr. Crowther arrives at his closing statement of, "If they're bluffing, it's time to call their bluff. If they're serious, it's time to arrest them. Will we have to see how the Tea Party arsenal stacks up against the United States army?" He is not threatening or being hypocritical. He is saying what he thinks is the logical outcome of the current rhetoric of the Right if the rule of law is applied. If you don't agree provide counterpoints to his argument that go toe-to-toe with his logic and facts. Not this cherry-picked crap taken out of context.

Re: “The Tea Party

@mattdrew - I take it your reading comprehension scores in school were not too stellar, eh? If you actually read and comprehended what Mr. Crowther's points were, then you would realize (I hope) how hollow your three summation points are. I'm not even saying you have to agree with him, but based on the way Mr. Crowther conceptualized his opinions those three summation points are non-sensical. If you are going to debate his opinions then don't ignore the details, give appropriate counterpoints. The distinctions and definitions are in the details, as always. But, those who suffer from epistemophobia conveniently dismiss the details and pretend to read when they are only skimming.
