Re: “Light or commuter rail?

I also rode the train between the 2 cities recently. It arrived 30 minutes late from Charlotte which is understandable given the construction going on at the Yadkin river. We flew down to Morrisville, but then things ground to a halt. I proposed earlier that the huge curve be eliminated, but NO their building that huge shopping center without a realignment. Leaving the Cary station was even worse, what is the problem there anyway? I am very excited about commuter (heavy engines) rail but only if the stations are far enough apart. Please keep it efficient - I would eliminate the Cary and Metro Center stations and have just 1 stop at McKimmon Drive, which is the midpoint and easily serves a connector to RDU.
