'Its lazy, lavish use of postmodern devices': too true. I feel he forced this out of himself rather than getting in with the 'flow'' You'd think he would know something about that being a songwriter but maybe music isn;t want he wants anymore. It's forced, poetry should be grounded and humble (I feel). I guess I'm saying it's pretentous. It's a shame; I had high hopes. I think the best thing about this is the title.
