--Joseph Wilson, career diplomat and acting U.S. Ambassador to Iraq before the first Gulf War, about the Bush administration's contention that Iraq sought to buy nuclear material in Africa. Wilson was sent to Niger last year by the CIA to investigate the claim, and reported back that there was no evidence to support it. Wilson now believes "some of the intelligence related to Iraq's nuclear weapons program was twisted to exaggerate the Iraqi threat."
