Re: “Primary results: Gill, Jackson are Dem winners; Randall-Reeves headed for GOP runoff in Brad Miller's district

"* in congressional District 4 (Democrat David Price's seat), B.J. Lawson defeated Frank Roche narrowly, 46-41 percent. An arch-conservative, Lawson barely prevailed over the more moderate-seeming Roche, leaving him in a very weak position against an entrenched incumbent in a heavily Democratic district. Don't expect to see GOP money flowing to Lawson. (Do expect to see it headed Ellmers's way.)"

Sorry, bro, but either your definition of "conservative" is WAY off or you have not done adequate research. Lawson is very pro-civil liberties, anti-war, and more moderate on immigration than most "arch-conservatives," while Roche is an anti-civil liberties, war-mongering fascist who supports Arizona's immigration law. In fact, by the classical definition, Lawson is very much a liberal in the tradition of Adam Smith, John Stuart Mill, and F.A. Hayek.

You should have consulted with the people who employ you before writing this piece. Lisa Sorg wrote a brilliant article last time on BJ and how he is far from the typical Republican.

Of course, there is also the possibility that you are just a Democratic hack who is spewing the party's propaganda.
