Those individuals who inspired and developed this comprehensive, original, and "creative" initiative for Southwest Raleigh exemplify the potential of the Creative District. Southwest Raleigh is the ideal location, with dynamic opportunities to unite business, art, academic, entertainment, park, research, market, health, government, aquatic, recreation, and historical epicenters. Existing, yet underutilized, infrastructure dominate the landscape of Raleigh's lower left quadrant, creating potential. This study has an opportunity to identify and prioritize unique opportunities for creative private economic developers that ultimately contribute to the city as a whole.
