Re: “Radius Pizzeria: An exciting menu that falls short on execution

I'm going to have to disagree with all the comments regarding the technical aspects of this article.

#1 The restaurant opened in late March, this article is dated May 1st...given the details of this article the author likely visited the restaurant on April 25th. More then enough time for the wait staff and the chefs/cooks to get their act together.

#2 I appreciate that the author took her kids to the restaurant. I have kids and they like pizza! If you have children you want to know what the family experience is going to be. I can tell you, to this day the wait staff is extremely nonchalant.

#3 A new restaurant has to operate at its very best in the first few weeks of opening. Forget working out kinks, be prepared! In a small town like hillsborough, word gets around quick...the space for errors is tiny. Not to mention all the great places to eat within a 1 mile radius of Radius. Last Fridays are an excellent opportunity for the restaurants to show case their food. Plus I want to know how they operate when they are busy.

This was a great review that touched on many things an average customer would want to know when dining out. I found the review about the food and service to be spot on from my many experiences eating there (I work and live around the corner). I get the same thing every time, it is the best item on the menu, the Old Reliable S&P pizza. The salads are also good, but way over priced for what you get. I do prefer Radius' Pizza over Vinny's and Anna's.

Overall it is a decent restaurant, but it could be much better. There are just tooooo many great places to eat in hillsborough for them to be decent.
