Re: “In Wake County, the Libertarians Are Coming—and They’re Not Just Old Whites Dudes Looking to Skip Out on Taxes

Arthur I find it interesting that the DNC, of which you are likely very fond, didn't support GSM marriage until this last Hillary Clinton candidacy. They perpetuated the drug war and 3 strikes. Their president bombed foreign countries every day for 8 years. I'm of the opinion that Democrats are only hypocrical Republicans.

Re: “The INDY Endorses Corey Branch for Raleigh City Council District C

I read it. He hasn't done anything to affect food desserts for which you give him credit. He's been almost completely mute while we've ENTERED the affordable housing crisis. He did nothing to support candidates, even the democrat endorsement for Mayor, that are supportive of the needs of the southeast.

Part of my pledge is being vocal about the hypocrisy of white liberals who pretend to care but in fact do not.

Indy Weekly is scared of his color more than you understand or care for the needs of the southeast.

Re: “The INDY Endorses Corey Branch for Raleigh City Council District C

"Watson or Gregg would be the first white person to represent District C in thirty years, and a victory by either would likely mean the Raleigh City Council would become an all-white body. That's not an ideal outcome."

Nobody else has had the audacity of saying it. That's a very sad state Indy. Something tells me that this good man, Mr. Branch, won't be proud of this endorsement.

What a horrible farce.

You missed long time Raleigh resident and former House 38 candidate Olen Watson running in opposition to Corey Branch for District C. Electolenwatson.org

Re: “Raleigh’s City Council Ballot Begins Filling Out

Make sure to include the incumbent's platform without including the challenger's. It's cool Not-So-Indy Weekly. I'll get my message out the hard way. Homelessness, Attainable housing, and improved police public interaction are on my docket.

Re: “The INDY’s Endorsements for the N.C. General Assembly

It has become a very sad state that the Indy has gone party instead of people. On all the issues identified in their support of Yvonne Holley I exceed her positions with far more innovative solutions. As a premis, we owe it to our state that we undo the wrongs we've done where it is possible.
If I am elected I will work to appoint a full time expungement board in every county and for the state, work to expunge the records of folks convicted of addiction related convictions, repeal drug posession related codes, institute a no stop ticketing policy for motor vehicle compliance issues, repeal HB2, mandate gender neutral bathrooms in all government buildings, reduce sales tax on food utilities and medicine to ZERO, and incentivize green grocers in food desert zones with reduced wage taxes. You see my opponent support Republicans in keeping body camera footage from the people that are being filmed. She is a wonderful woman but she is not at all in touch with the needs of her constituents. She isn't legislatively innovative, and she needs to find another hobby.
