Re: “The Vintage church in Raleigh attracts young college students, but does its anti-women stance collide with its public image?

Certainly there's nothing remotely hip about misogyny and the shaming of singles, gay, and divorced folks. Using religion to spread intolerance and to restrict the power structure to include only men is just moldy thinking.

Re: “Any monkey with a typewriter: GOP's Claude Pope lashes out at NYT editorial board

Pope and McCrory. just old-fashioned political hucksters, label smart, informed people "elitists" to create class warfare in our state. We ought to know better than to take the bait.

Meanwhile, outsiders just shake their heads and murmur, "Paddle faster."

Re: “The struggle: Through trial and travail, newscaster and singer Pam Saulsby enters a second act

We watch Pam and Penn after the network news nightly. Remember seeing beautiful Pam at the Komen races in Raleigh enthusiastically encouraging and supporting the runners. So glad she's back!
