Oh What a Night returns to Raleigh's Fletcher Opera Theater for a third year beginning Friday

Oh What a Night III

When: Aug. 23-25 2013
Price: $33.55–42.20
If you go crazy for ballads and Broadway, if you like to blast Wicked at full volume in your car while singing along, if you sometimes wish you could see a musical but fast-forward from one show-stopping song to the next, then Oh What a Night is for you. Featuring stars from both Raleigh and New York, Theatre Raleigh's third annual concert event presents popular songs from big Broadway musicals that the theater doesn't have the resources or people to produce in full: Jersey Boys, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera among them. It's all the soaring, climactic solos without any of the plot points. All dessert, no spinach. Sign us up. —Emma D. Miller
