Oak City Bard Brawl 

When: Tue., April 8, 7 p.m. 2014
This year’s storytellers must spin yarns with the theme “Metamorphosis.” Competitors get seven minutes to impress the judges, with no props and no notes allowed. Winner will be crowned “Bard of Oak City” and rewarded with Sir Walter Raleigh’s plumed hat. Door proceeds support Raleigh Public Record and Little Raleigh Radio.
