Raleigh band No Love features members of some of the area's heaviest punk acts—Logic Problem, Devour and Last Words, for example. But they offer a hooky and irreverent counterpoint to Raleigh's newfound glut of heavy hardcore. Their raw sound unites Guitar Wolf's garage tenacity and Screeching Weasel's pop-punk. Greensboro's Totally Slow are becoming local regulars, hitting the indie-punk sweet spot with plenty of ragged chords and enticing melodies. Charlotte's Black Market opens with accessible pop-rock that's draped in an ever-so-light fuzz. This bill is the latest installment of the monthly Let Feedback Ring concert series, which puts rock bands in the dance club Legends. —Bryan C. Reed
