An elderly king wants to retire from it all and orders his three daughters to prove their love for him in exchange for his kingdom. The youngest daughter fails to execute the directive to his satisfaction and gets banished. You've heard this before, right? Well, in Nearly Lear, the story gets retold by Norris, Lear's devoted clown. Norris is actually Noreen and alternates between the two genders in the telling. Susanna Hamnett performs her one-woman show tonight at 8 and tomorrow at 2 p.m.—Sarah Ewald
