NCMA Cinema: Bluffmaster

When: Fri., March 14, 8 p.m. 2014
Price: $5-$7
There have been quite a few versions of the 2000 Argentine con artist flick Nueve Reinas (Nine Queens) that have popped off and are worth showing at the NCMA. There's the 2004 American version, called Criminal, along with several other remakes done in India. But since NCMA film curator (and INDY contributor) Laura Boyes is a big-time Bollywood fan, of course she was gonna pick this 2005 retelling, with all its romance, drama, comedy and giddy musical numbers. Not to mention that, since the museum is still showing automotive-heavy movies in its "Car Crazy" series, a '60s Ford Mustang figures prominently in the storyline. —Craig D. Lindsey
