NC Symphony

When: Thu., Dec. 22, 7:30 p.m. 2011
Price: $33-63

Under the guidance of resident conductor William Henry Curry, the North Carolina Symphony performs a special Christmas program of traditional holiday standards and classic carols. Featured vocalists include bass-baritone Jason McKinney and soprano Brandi Q. Hancock, along with the Capital City Girls Choir. WRAL's David Crabtree hosts with a reading of "The Night Before Christmas," though he'll likely be overshadowed by a visit from jolly old Saint Nick himself. The event also serves as a donation drive for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle BackPack Buddies program. —Spencer Griffith
