NC Symphony Pops: Casablanca

When: Fri., Feb. 13, 8 p.m. and Sat., Feb. 14, 3 & 8 p.m. 2015
Price: $30-$75
Casablanca is arguably more of a political thriller than a romance, but the music—“As Time Goes By” and “La Marseillaise,” for example—certainly moves you. The North Carolina Symphony screens the Bergman/Bogart classic and plays Max Steiner’s score. They reprise the performance on Valentine’s Day at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. —Chris Vitiello
