A trio of North Carolina poets will share their latest works at this special reading. N.C. State faculty member Maria Rouphail is associate poetry editor of Main Street Rag; Jessie Carty has written five poetry collections and is managing editor of Referential magazine; John Amen is a massive multihyphenate whose work includes folk-rock albums, painting in acrylic, editing The Pedestal magazine and of course, poetry. This reading is part of a monthly series at McIntyre's presented by the North Carolina Poetry Society. —Zack Smith
