In the past, when blacks took over white neighborhoods, it was called Invasion and Succession. Gentrification meant whites reclaiming neighborhoods that had previously abandoned. But these are historically black neighborhoods in which the term gentrification is being applied. It should called what it actually is, Invasion and Succession!
