It's amazing that everyday citizens appear to be better shots or more proficient in hand-to-hand that the police.
Are the police officers afraid to properly handle a situation, then be put on trial in the court of public opinion and print/electronic news, without the public hearing the full truth of the situation.

To hear family members and friends of the criminals, the criminal is a pillar of the community, church and their families, and the police are thugs.
