The above comment is spot on. Cooper and Democrats screwed the LGBT community big time. They weakened us nationally and I feel bad for Gay NC because the only power the LGBT community had was the pressure for the republicans to full repeal. It would have taken maybe another year maybe longer but loss of jobs would have made it a numbers game and now LGBT has nothing to leverage and they will not accommodate the LGBT community after 2020 and Cooper will probably lose his seat and they will make it worse. HRC lost it's influence also. One thing that makes me angry is that people only want to talk about Trans-bathroom access. Gay people who raise children lost all work and community protections. Does anyone realize
