Re: “Host D.G. Martin's enthusiasm and curiosity drive UNC-TV program North Carolina Bookwatch

Mr. Martin, your show has entertained and been instructive since 2013. Today, may I offer two books, Europe in Low about two college grads touring Europe on bicycles following the Armistice in the Great War (published by under Samantha Narelle Kirkland) and my latest, an adventure on the sea inspired by the loss of the Titanic whereby the heroes develop an unsinkable hull. This is a completed work, but I have delayed seeking publication until my illustrations are rendered more artfully than are my mere line drawings. May I send you the manuscript for consideration for your show, or forward a copy of Europe in Low? I've always loved your style of sitting back and letting the author tell her story! Your station already has a copy of The Thread of Life Is Thin, a DVD I made in 2005 following the destruction of Hurricane Ivan in my home county, Macon. Feel free to call for further info, 828-524-0261. Sorry I missed you at Yale; I was an undergrad, Class of 1967, then Army CE. Sincerely, Narelle
