Agree with Gretta. School seems exclusionary and even bigoted having a policy which allows all children into a preschool, but permits only Jews at the secondary level. This admission criteria embodies the very definition of discrimination and, to my knowledge, is against public policy.

The story is confusing. The Lerner school bemoans disgruntled parents were supposedly closed minded, yet the school itself employs polices that are highly discriminatory, unwelcoming, and possibly unconstitutional.

Re: “How a Little Jewish Day School in Durham Became Embroiled in an International Controversy

If one had bothered to do a "little" research, they'd have found that this "little" school has sued 3 parents in 2 years. A lot of lawsuits for a "little" school, right?

The idea that these people are the ONLY ones with issues with this "little" school is bogus.
