Re: “Support your local shrimper

On Ocracoke Island, the Ocracoke Seafood Company gets in local fish daily, including shrimp when in season. And freezes up excess fresh shrimp for the off season. Though most restaurants on the island use at least some of the fresh fish hardly any use the shrimp. It certainly isn't a quality comparison, so must be the price. Americans are just as addicted to cheap foreign shrimp as they are to foreign oil. Time to invade Thailand for its shrimp farms!
