I'm also one of the thousands of Americans who made the choice of love over country. I moved to England over 3 years ago to be with my partner, a British woman. My oldest daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild, but I will only see him at most a couple of times a year. We can't risk coming any more than that, or my partner will be refused entry to visit "her friend's" daughter. The US is falling behind more and more socially and economically. And when we read that the presidential election is neck and neck, we and most everyone I talk to here is astonished at how backwards the country is. After the disasters of the last 8 years, America is too afraid to elect a black man. What a joke and laughing stock the country has become to the rest of the world.
